Iqaluit (Mar 03/03) - Two Iqaluit men were injured in a knife fight that broke out at house 115 on Feb. 22.

The altercation resulted in arrest and hospitalization for both individuals.

One man was stabbed in the abdomen while the other lost a portion of his ear, which was bitten off during the fight.

One of the men was charged with a aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and two counts of pointing a firearm.

He will remain in police custody until his court appearance. The other was charged with breach of probation, mischief and breach of an undertaking. He will appear in court on Thursday.
