In Range Lake, where there are 1,390 voters, the five candidates are Alex Debogorski, Everett Kasteel, Sandy Lee, Dave Ramsay and Roger Russell.
In Yellowknife South, there are 1,322 registered voters so far and there are three candidates: Brenden Bell, NDP candidate Mary Beth Levan and Pat McMahon.

His two competitors are NDP candidate Bill Schram and David Wind.

In the Great Slave riding there are five candidates including Bill Braden, Marie Coe, Roy Desjarlais, Bill Enge and NDP candidate Suzette Montreuil.
The smallest Yellowknife riding is Yellowknife Centre with 1,060 voters so far. The riding also has the fewest candidates with only incumbent MLA Jake Ootes and challenger Bernie Hughes.
Several candidates filed their nomination forms on Nov. 1, just before the 2 p.m. deadline.
Of the 65 candidates NWT-wide, 26 filed their papers on Nov. 1, according to NWT elections co-ordinator of information and training Brian Armstrong.
"A lot of the Yellowknife candidates filed their papers earlier on in the week but there were still a lot who filed just before the cut-off.
The voter's list revision period ends Nov. 8. at 5 p.m.
"People can still swear in and get on the voter's list but if they're not the list by Nov. 8 then they can't vote by proxy and they can't vote by mail-in ballot," Armstrong said.
"They can let us know they want to vote by proxy until Nov. 15."
Proxy voting is when someone votes on behalf of someone else who is out of town.
Mail-in ballots are when elections officials send ballots out to people in other communities or in the south.
University students are one good example of who votes this way.
"They can fill out an application and apply for a special mail-in ballot and we will send them a ballot in the mail which they can mark and send back to us by Dec. 3."
